is excited to partner again with a leading business in their sector, in the search for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance function.
The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks. This hybrid position requires you to work in the office for four days a week, offering a balance between collaborative teamwork and flexibility. The role is a fixed-term contract for 12-18 months, with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
