Amplifi Talent are partnering with a well-established, multi-entity business to appoint an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Lisburn.
This is an opportunity to join a high-volume finance function within a large, fast-moving organisation, supporting the day-to-day processing of supplier transactions while ensuring accuracy, control and efficiency across the purchase ledger.
The Role
Working as part of a busy finance team, you will play a key role in managing high volumes of supplier invoices and payments across the group.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Managing supplier accounts, including query resolution and statement reconciliations
- Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
- Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with cash allocation
- Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and ledger close activities
- Ensuring strong financial controls and adherence to internal processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline workflows
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a structured, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on detail and delivery.
The Person
We are keen to speak with candidates who are comfortable operating in a high-volume, transactional finance environment.
You will likely have:
- Experience working in accounts payable / purchase ledger
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
- Strong communication skills when dealing with internal teams and suppliers
Experience of working in a multi-entity or high-volume environment would be advantageous.
