We are partnering with a fast-growing, founder-led business to appoint a Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. The business has grown significantly through an active acquisition strategy and continues to pursue an ambitious growth agenda.
This is a genuine board-level appointment, reporting directly to the Managing Director, with real influence over financial and commercial strategy as the business enters its next phase of growth.
The Role
- Acting as a key strategic advisor to the leadership team on business strategy and long-term planning
- Owning financial strategy, including capital structure, funding, and banking relationships
- Leading financial due diligence, modelling, and deal structuring for acquisitions
- Owning the financial integration of acquired businesses
- Leading business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and group-level reporting
- Developing KPI frameworks and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
- Ensuring robust financial control and regulatory compliance
The Person
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience at Finance Director or senior FC level
- Direct experience of M&A, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Strong technical accounting skills across multiple entities
- Confident with financial systems and data tools
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable operating at board level
- A commercial mindset, able to translate financial insight into strategic action
- Brings a hands-on approach to all aspects of their work
