We are partnering with a growing, entrepreneurial advisory business to appoint a Head of Tax, a newly created role reflecting the continued expansion of the firm and its growing tax and compliance requirements.
This is a well-rounded, senior internal tax position suited to someone with strong technical experience who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and genuine influence over how tax is managed across a business.
The Role
- Leading internal tax strategy, compliance, and reporting across the business
- Reviewing corporation tax compliance and identifying areas of risk or opportunity
- Acting as the senior internal tax technical authority, providing guidance across the business
- Liaising with external advisers, auditors, and tax authorities as required
- Partnering with wider business and finance teams on tax-related strategy and decision-making
- Driving process improvement and building scalable internal tax capability
The Person
- Qualified accountant or tax professional (ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent)
- Significant corporate tax experience
- Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to translate this into practical, commercial guidance
- Experience working in professional services or a comparable advisory environment
- Self-motivated and commercially astute, confident operating with autonomy at a senior level
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and support a team
