Candidate Profile
Lead audit manager reporting directly to the partner and client management team. Managing a portfolio including FTSE 100 companies, and clients across a spectrum of different industries.
This role includes managing the whole audit process from planning to completion; from negotiation of fees, identifying key risks, tailoring the audit plan, and delivering impactful insights and results for clients.
Contributing to the wider departmental goals by being directly involved in the finance review, monitoring WIP, utilisation and timesheets on a regular basis to ensure revenue and costs are recorded on a timely basis, highlighting for the Partner team any potential losses.
▪️ Preparation of audit reports, presentation of findings, and making recommendations for senior management and facilitating informed decision making and strategic planning
▪️ Evaluate and assess internal control systems, identifying areas for improvement and providing tailored recommendations to clients
▪️ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize audit efficiency, including implementation of data analytics and risk-based auditing approaches
▪️ Project management including developing comprehensive audit plans, timelines & budgets, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements and firm standards
▪️ Supervising and developing a large team
