Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the finance function within a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience and make a meaningful impact.
The Role:
- Prepare timely monthly management accounts across the Group.
- Calculate accruals and prepayments, and maintain key schedules including fixed assets and intercompany accounts.
- Manage all Balance Sheet movements and ensure accuracy.
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements and assist with external audits.
- Contribute to group corporation tax and VAT return processes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
- Monitor financial controls and support internal audit activities.
- Maintain the nominal ledger, including transaction audits, journal entries, and expense coding.
- Produce and distribute scheduled and ad hoc financial reports.
- Lead and support areas of the Finance team such as accounts receivable, bank, or accounts payable.
- Handle statutory reporting to regulatory bodies including HMRC, Companies House, and the Department of Finance.
- Provide guidance to other finance departments including invoicing and payroll.
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ industry experience.
- Proven experience in team supervision or management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
